The
Chultan Pantheon
These special powers are
usable by any character unless a special class restriction or other limiting
factor is noted. All Holy waters do 2d4 damage to Undead, and Unholy waters heal
2d4 points of damage when used on an Undead creature. No holy water is barred
from anyone, but a priest would have severe reservations about using the waters
of a radically opposed faith.
- Eshowdow
- Priests of Eshowdow using unholy water can cause
structural damage or hull damage to a wooden structure or ship. This damage is
1d4 points if the user is a Cleric, and 2d4 if a full Eshowdowan Shaman or
Shadow Stalker. The effect is minimal against structures of other materials,
causing but a single point of damage regardless of the user's rank. Usable
only by Priest classes.
- Sseth
- A vial of Sseth's unholy water thrown to the ground
(and shattered) polymorphs into 1d6 small, harmless snakes. While the snakes
do not bite, and are in no way poisonous, they always attempt to crawl up the
legs of (or otherwise onto) the priest's opponent. This is, needless to say,
very distracting, forcing the victim to suffer -4 to all attacks and a +2 AC
penalty until the snakes are removed. Usable by anyone.
- Ubtao
- Holy water of Ubtao promotes jungle growth when
sprinkled on the ground, no matter where or what the surrounding terrain is.
One plant per level of the user will grow in that area overnight, and it is
magically protected throughout that night. Whether the plants can survive much
beyond this is a matter of surrounding climate and ecosystem. Usable by
anyone.
