The
Mulhorandi Pantheon
These special powers are
usable by any character unless a special class restriction or other limiting
factor is noted. All Holy waters do 2d4 damage to Undead, and Unholy waters heal
2d4 points of damage when used on an Undead creature, unless stated otherwise in
the description. No holy water is barred from anyone, but a priest would have
severe reservations about using the waters of a radically opposed
faith.
- Assuran (Hoar)
- While he has been in power for a considerable length
of time, Assuran has never created his own unique Holy water, although he
doesn't mind his faithful using "normal" Holy water if they wish to do
so.
- Anhur
- Consumption of this Holy water will increase one
physical ability temporarily. Strength, Dexterity, or Constitution may be
affected. The drinker gains one point in one of these abilities for purposes
of making ability checks only. This increase lasts for 24 hours, and another
drqught may not be consumed for three days following (doing so will result in
no effect, save resetting the three day period).
- Bast (Sharess)
- Sharess's priestesses employ no special Holy water,
likely because they're to busy seeking sensual fulfillment to create any.
Normal Holy water may be employed, however.
- Geb
- The drinker of this Holy Water can detect unerringly
the direction to OR value of any gems and precious metals within 100 feet.
Usable only by clergy of Geb
- Hathor
- Proper use of this Holy water eases pain druing
childbirth, and reduces the chances of negative complications. Usable by
Clergy of Hathor or Isis
- Horus-Re
- Applying this Holy Water to one's skin will protect it
from the Sun. The user will not sunburn, and heat exhaustion and heat strike
set in much slower. Usable by anyone.
- Isis
- The drinker of this holy water can tell something
about weather patterns (or lack thereof) in an area, but only once per
draught. This is theequivilent of having made a successful weather knowledge
NWP check. Usable by anyone.
- Nephthys
- This water appears clear, but it can be used as ink.
Anything written in this ink is immune to all methods of erasing, magical or
mundane, as long as Nepthys is in power. Usable by anyone.
- Osiris
- Holy water of the Reaper of the Harvest can be
employed to ensure plants bear the greatest fruits (or vegetables) possible.
Any plant watered regularaly with this Holy water will produce the best fruit
possible as long as the watering continues. Tomatoes will be large and plump;
Apples will be the juciest around, and so on....Usable by anyone with the
Agriculture NWP/Secondary Skill.
- Sebek
- If applied to the feet, this Unholy water allows the
user to walk accross swampy terrain without sinking. Unfortunately, the water
also has a habit of attracting crocodiles...... Usable by anyone.
- Set
- Pouring this Unholy liqguid into another (different)
liquid of no more than on quart in volume evaporates out all the water in that
second liquid, often leaving salt or other deposits behind. Usable by
anyone.
- Thoth
- The priesthood of Thoth puts no faith in the use of
Holy Waters, and the faith uses none of any sort, even punishing those who
do.
- Tiamat
- Unholy water of Tiamat will heal undead like any other
Unholy water, but can also heal evil dragons, and will harm any good aligned
dragon (albiet 2d4 damage to a dragon is rather minor in most cases).
