To all tests short of acutally claiming the dagger, this weapon appears to be mundane. This is due to powerful cloaked wizardry enchantments (triple normal). The weapon is highly intelligent, and the spirit within is male. He is a Pih Kaetta (+5), however the bonus can be lowered by the spirit at will. The bonus can be dropped as far as (-5). Upon the utterance of the command word, he can unleash a 12d6 fireball. This impresive ability may be used but once per tenday. The weapon has a severe hatred of unnatural beings, and as a result he does double damage on a successful hit against these monsters. (Unnatural creature is defined as undead, consturcts, and outer-planar creatures.) The weapon will never strike against an unarmed or helpless natural being, dropping to the floor, and if nessecary unleashing it's fireball to stop the weilder. (Supposing that the unarmed person or creature is not too close.) Any non-intelligent undead "slain" with this dagger cannot be reanimated for two full years. Best of all, any evil tanar-ri of baatezu struck by the weapon is banished from the prime material plane for 200 years.

While unsheathed, he produces light equal to torchlight in a 30' radius. This light is unique in that it is strong enough to penetrate magical darkness, and still not spoil the infravision (if any) of the bearer. On a critical hit, he will automatically slay any rogue of chaotic evil or neutral evil alignment. The victim gains a save vs. Death Magic, and the save is made at +2 if the rogue is neutral evil.

He can read languages and interpret maps at will. In addition, he can do each of the following as noted: Detect Magic in a 25' Radius (1/Day) Detect Invisible and/or Etheral creatures and objects (2/tenday) Magic Missile at 23rd level (1/tenday)
