Italicized information after a Deity's name indicates the approximate era in which the God or Goddess died.
In the case of Waukeen and Ulutiu, they are still alive, but are in some way incapable of communicating with their worshipers and clergies. Karsus is a special case; he is both dead and alive at the same time, and is both a God and a Mortal. Ao left him in this chaotic state to serve as a reminder to those who might attempt similar folly in the future.
Netherese Gods: Of the pantheon that ruled over Ancient Netheril, only Amaunator and Moander are truly dead. Jannath has mostly withdrawn from this Crystal Sphere, however a portion of her essence left behind gave birth to a new Goddess, Chauntea. Jergal, Shar and Selune are still alive in the Realms, albiet greatly reduced in power; Kozah is an ancient name for Talos, and they are one in the same. Mystrl sacrificed herself to save the weave at the fall of Netheril, but has remanifested as Mystra; Targus is now known as Gargos, and his power is mostly gone, as Tempus is the primary God of War in the Realms. Tyche's essence split into at least two pieces during the Dawn Catclysm (The first Godswar) forming the contemporary Goddesses Tymora and Beshaba. There is also some speculation that Lathander was born of a piece of Tyche's sundered esssence, but no one can prove this one way or the other, including the Church of the Morninglord.
